How low will Knox go?

We've all seen Knox's lit and signs that try and woo a certain "group". Nothing wrong with that, all candidates do to some degree.

However, his lit along 2 street today that said that Tom is a true catholic while Nutter is a fake catholic...is just wrong. I mean seriously, at what lengths is this guy gonna go? To lit drop a heavily Catholic neighborhood and slander another candidate's spiritual beliefs is just absurd.

He keeps spiraling lower and lower....

So Knox is sending out anti-Nutter direct mailing

claiming Nutter is a fraud because he's received a few bucks from Campbell. I thought he was going to run a clean campaign. Then again, now that Knox has made friends with the least reform minded groups in Philly its not at all surprising he'd do this. This man has repeatedly gone back on his word and his recent answers at forums only shows his willingness to lie and manipulate voters.

Chaka Fattah represents the status quo

There are many angry bloggers out there that like to blame Bob Brady for the status quo that exists in our city. They believe that since he heads the party that put John Street in power he is somehow responsible for our current problems. Few people realize - or are willing to discuss - Chaka Fattah's close association with Mayor Street and his senior staffers. The Inquirer has mentioned this a few times in the past. Unfortunately I do not have a Nexis password and cannot do as much digging through Inky and DN archives as I would like. Here is a small taste:

"One of those friends is George Burrell, the former senior aide to Mayor Street and now CEO of Innovation Philadelphia, who plays four or five times a season with Fattah at Freeway, Cobbs Creek, St. Davids Country Club, or River Crest Golf Club in Oaks, Pa." (Inky, 3/26/07)
-Burrell was Street's top advisor until recently, and he has been encouraging Chaka to run for mayor for the past few years.
