City Democratic Party Raises Funds to Beat Us!

As many of you already know, the City Democratic committee has started a separate PAC to raise funds for the party. I just read this priceless paragraph in a story about this new PAC in the city's political paper, the Public Record:
Campbell [a ward leader from West Philly] believes the Finance Committee's operation will help move the party into the future. "We need to understand the Internet and to teach our people how to use it. We need to battle the bloggers on their own turf."
What bloggers exactly is she planning to battle? Being a part of the city committee means you are pretty much guaranteed to fight only with other Dems, not Republicans, so is Campbell planning to fight us?
It's kind of amazing that the party plans to raise money to organize an internet presence when there are so many bloggers, e-activists and other folks part of YoungPhillyPolitics, A Smoke Filled Room, Philly for Change, Philly Against Santorum, Liberty City, NN, ADA, etc. who would love to help- as long as the party was willing to change and actually deliever progressive public policy.
And when people from groups listed above do run for committee seats, or when people like Tony Payton, Anne Dicker or Renee Gillinger run for elected office, we are accused of being Republican plants or get whaled on or intimidated by every political heavy hitter in town. All I can say is...whatever haters!

Who cares?
Who cares what Carol Campbell says? she has no political power inside the city and it shows everytime she tries to run someone for office. She has not elected judges, she tried hard to keep Tommy Blackwell out of office and tried to get Mike Horsey to run again, but the results of these elections speak for themselves.
The only power she has is what people give her because they are tired of her mouth, maybe just keep feeding her so she'll shut up.
I say that if she wants to get rid of people, run for office herself and show Philadelphia how much juice she has.
It doesn't matter instead of picking who you like and don't like start working with people.
EVIL PREVAILS WHEN GOOD MEN/WOMEN DO NOTHING.
What you all are experiencing is labor pains.
The bullshit is what you go through to earn your bones.

Don't be suprised to see the 6th and arch street gang open up a can of whup ass on some of the Strange Bedfellows Founders, and then the game will be thrown wide open..
