UPDATED Full list of City Council candidates - need help with contact info
I've updated my list of candidates for the 2007 City Council race based on Josh Cornfield's reporting of who filed and some additional research I've done. I'm still missing contact information for a lot of candidates, and would love any help from folks who know the individual campaigns. I've reached out to those that have e-mail addresses on Committee of Seventy's lists. I pulled campaign committee contact info for most incumbents off of the City Controller's campaign finance reports, but some of them are c/o accountants or otherwise don't seem like current campaign contact information.
Please see the list below/after the jump or visit the full spreadsheet at CouncilCandidates.info - please leave any new information in the comments here or at http://CouncilCandidates.info.
Many thanks!
Colors and bold indicate party/incumbency, and names are linked where I have campaign websites.
Asterisks are those candidates for which I'm missing some contact information. The definitive version is still the NumSum spreadsheet, which can also be viewed in a simpler layout. I can't promise that I'll keep the list below updated, but the spreadsheet will be, and that's where addresses will live.

Who said Old Men aren't Hip????
To Councilman Ramos and Staff:
Nice myspace profile, I would have never thought! Just when you thought you seen it all, some never disappoint. Good money spent. Lets not get into any trouble on there, we have time to play on myspace but not enough time to realize we have one of the dirtiest, nastiest districts in Philadelphia. Just wanted to point that out. Also for all candidates make sure you find out where your campaign signs are being posted. Not to many nice places I seen posters in certain areas. Can't say that Councilman ISN'T for the hood.....

Alex Talmadge isn't running
Alex Talmadge isn't running in the 8th anymore.
Thanks - I'd missed that he
Thanks - I'd missed that he wasn't on the list of those who filed. Seems like a nice guy, and I voted for him against Abraham 6 years ago, but that race needed some thinning out.

What happened with Talmadge?
What I heard....
Talmadge was getting ready to file his petitions and got a phone call. He turned around and left. I wonder who was on the other end.
His brother is running for City Commissioner. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything.
I personally like Talmadge a lot and volunteered on his race for DA. His exit from the race makes things a little less interesting, but probably good for the challengers.
